Mercy Night is a night of prayer and encounter. At Mercy Night, Fr. Mitch leads us in Adoration as we come face to face with our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. Often, we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Liturgy of the Hours (Night Prayer) as well.
We encourage people of all ages, all levels of spiritual growth, and all walks of life and faith. This is a night open to all those who just want to know Jesus more, who wish to encounter him on a deeper level of love. If you know of someone who might just need some time in prayer, or someone who is questioning their faith and wanting to go deeper, bring them to Mercy Night!
Childcare is available for all children under the age of 5! A donation of $5 is suggested for our babysitters!
The Liturgy of the Hours is the official prayer of the Church, second in importance only to the Mass. When we pray the Divine Office, as it's also called, we are praying not only with each other as a parish, but with and on behalf of the entire Church, earthly and heavenly. We enter into the words spoken by saints, by the Apostles, by Mary, by Jesus Christ himself. If you'd like to have access to the Divine Office regularly, click on our "Liturgy of the Hours" page, or download the free iBreviary app on your smart device!
The intent of the night of Adoration is to bring our parish deeper into communion with Jesus and his Divine Mercy. If you'd like to learn more about Divine Mercy, check out the program on FORMED called "The Second Greatest Story Ever Told"!
